looks like xanga's dead.... the friendster brigade has rolled in

I saw an article in the New York Daily News about these black and hispanic kids that got beat up by a bunch of white kids in Staten Island a few days ago, by a gang called the "Great Kills Boys". Dumb shit. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to my high school.

It sparks that old love/hate relationship I have with the Island. I get jaded more and more with the arrogant, ignorant, racist, greasy, spiky-haired, trance-blasting, too-small-AIX-shirt-wearing guidos (ginos, I call them) that have infested the place. But I can't hate on it totally, because aside from the 8 months a year I spend in Maryland, I was born and raised there. It's the only place to call home.

My mom wants to move to Jersey after my brother graduates from high school in 3 years since S.I.'s getting crowded as hell. I'm all for it, anywhere but S.I. or the boonies. I'll have a car to see my friends. But most likely, I'll have to linger in S.I. after I graduate to save up money living at home before I can move out.

Images from Saturday:

photographers from all the major news tabloids were there....

me and my cord mate, alison

it's bubbles these days.... uncooked rice kills pigeons

this pic's probably getting framed in the living room...

they're both big star wars fans... i wouldn't have been surprised if they danced to the "Imperial March" theme....

this is one of the few times my cousin kirsten wasn't crying... golden moment

(my cuz Mick is in the "Light Your Ass On Fire" video for a second... but i still haven't seen it yet... he's one of the dudes peeping through the fence)

Me-n-Charisse.... common trait that I was pointed out just recently: small smiles

Open bar is the world's greatest invention

me and my buddy... everything's cool

(This dude's gonna be taller than me in 2 years... and he's only 15!)

The run down (left to right on top): Me, Joe, Mick, Jon, Jing, Pat, Mark, Andrew (left to right on bottom): Charisse, Aisa, Terese, Michelle

The older heads still call us the "teens" even though most of us are in our 20's
